Leica M

The Leica Range Finder experience has attracted many photographers over the years, and it continues to. If you want proof of this just go shopping in the used market for a Leica and see how they keep up their resale value. Resale value, to simplify a bit, is determined by demand among buyers. Despite the steep price of Leicas the demand remains. There is a type of mystique associated with these cameras, some of which relates to their 20th century history, and some to their form factor. They are after all the only game in town if you want a full frame digital camera that is a true range finder, is relatively small and has a great assortment of glass available. So I have succumbed to this mystique. On this page I intend to post a picture every day, for how long I don’t know. My experience posting everyday with a picture taken that day continues on the Df365 page on this site. On this Leica page I will not restrict myself to the criteria that the picture has to be taken on the day it is posted. Enjoy and please share your comments.
UPDATE March, 2017: I miss the Leica, but Nikon is producing fine cameras, and they are my mainstay. Update August, 2018, I am leaving Nikon and now use Sony cameras, but still miss the Leica.
